Terms of Service
Last updated: August 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ShiftFlow (the "Service"), a time-tracking application that lets businesses manage employee clock in/out, including geolocation-based clock in/out and shift history. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use ShiftFlow
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you create a business account, you are the "Manager" for that business and are responsible for the actions of any "Employee" accounts you invite or add under it. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
New business accounts start with a free trial period. After the trial ends, continued use of the Service requires an active paid subscription, billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Employee data and geolocation
The Service may record an employee's location at the moment they clock in or out, to verify shift attendance. If you use ShiftFlow as a Manager, you are responsible for:
- Having a lawful basis to collect and process your employees' location and time data;
- Informing your employees that this data is collected and how it is used, consistent with applicable labor and privacy laws in your jurisdiction; and
- Only using the data for legitimate workforce-management purposes.
See our Privacy Policy for details on how we process this data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts or data;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably possible.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that location data will always be accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftFlow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice, such as by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to ShiftFlow's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
